Overview
Every managed trade is subject to Prosperon's compliance and transaction-review framework. The purpose of the framework is to protect customers, suppliers and Prosperon itself from fraud, sanctions exposure, money-laundering risk, and dealings in prohibited goods.
Customer verification (KYB)
Before we open your first managed trade we complete know-your-business checks: legal entity confirmation, beneficial ownership, business address, primary contacts and (where applicable) director identity. We may ask for corroborating documents.
Supplier review
We independently verify supplier identity, registration and, where possible, banking-account-name matching. Where our review raises concerns we may pause the trade and request additional evidence, or decline to proceed.
Transaction screening
Every trade is screened against sanctions lists, prohibited-goods rules and typologies that suggest fraud or laundering. Screening is repeated when material trade details change (for example a supplier bank-account update or a change of consignee).
Source-of-funds
For managed settlements, Prosperon may request evidence of the source of your funds. This is a proportionate check, not a blanket condition, and is applied consistently across customers.
Bank-account changes
If a verified supplier proposes a change to their settlement bank details after verification, we pause the trade and independently re-verify the change through a secure callback before any onward settlement.
Records
Compliance records are retained for the periods required by law and by our audit obligations. Records that support a decision to decline or exit a trade are retained regardless of whether the trade proceeds.
What this policy does NOT do
This policy does not make Prosperon a bank, a licensed money-transfer business, or a payment institution. Regulated payment, FX and settlement services within a managed trade are carried out by our approved banking or payment partners.
This policy is provided as a substantive draft for design review. Definitive text will be published after independent legal review. Nothing in this document should be treated as legal advice.
